For the iconic Great White Sharks of course. But why is Guadalupe so unique among the other destinations where you can see these remarkable creatures?
The most distinguishing property of great white shark encounters around Guadalupe is the excellent visibility. You can do cage dives around South Africa or New Zealand, but usually, all other locations are famous for their green water and low visibility conditions. Guadalupe is different, and this difference made it today's best Great White Encounter location. Imagine visibility ranging from 20 to 50 meters and some of the biggest Great White Sharks which are not shy at all around the cages.

Sample Itinerary
Day 1.
Pick up by van at 08:30 in San Diego, (stop at the border crossing in San Isidro to get your Mexican visa) or at 09:30 in Tijuana, at suggested hotels. Drive to Ensenada arriving at 11:30 and boarding Sea Escape. Immigration and Port authorities will pass inspection, and the boat departs right after that.
Day 2.
Arrival to Guadalupe Island at 08:00. Drop anchor, put cages in the water and shark diving begins at 09:00 until 17:00 when cages are taken out of the water.
Day 3.
Diving all day.
Day 4.
Diving until 14:30, cages out of the water and sailing back to Ensenada.
Day 5.
Arrival to Ensenada at 11:00, Immigration and Port authorities pass inspection and shuttle back to Tijuana and San Diego.

Our ship - The Southern Sport
Southern Sport is a 115 ft / 35 m long aluminum vessel that divides its time between Socorro and Guadalupe.
It has 9 double cabins, all with private bathrooms and AC, that can accommodate a total of 18 divers. The main deck has an air-conditioned saloon with TV, BluRay DVD, music, and an extensive library so you don't get bored in between dives (you won't get bored, we promise).
The dive deck is spacious, with a large camera table and fresh water rinse tanks for photo and video equipment. The boat offers 10, 12, and 15L tanks with air or Nitrox (extra charge). The dive deck also has a bathroom and fresh water showers.
The Southern Sport crew is one of the most experienced in Revillagigedo. This is one of the main reasons we chose it for our expedition.
