Probably you have seen already plenty crocodiles in your life; probably you got in the water with sharks and other big fishes. Probably you are one of those rare divers who feel that being surrounded by sharks is as relaxing as it gets... Well, to get in the water with these dinosaurs will be different! There will be excitement, adrenaline, and thrill beyond any imagination! Just how you want it!
You know this is not for the faint-hearted. You know even your shark diver friends think you are crazy. You know what they all say about crocodiles, but you can't resist, you have to try this. You have to get in the water with huge American Crocodiles, no way that you would miss this one!

The location is Banco Chinchorro, home of amazing wrecks and reefs, a unique spot in the Caribbean. You will stay in the most basic fishermen's hut over the water, look for birds, dive in the mornings and well: get in the clear water and swim with 3-4 meters long American Crocodiles. This is the real thing, a real expedition far off-shore to get up-close to one of the most amazing creatures of this world.
Only a few outfitters are offering this trip, and Banco Chichorro is one of the only places in the world where you can do such an awesome (CRAZY) thing. You will have Barna with you taking care of the details (and well, about you...), and making sure this incredible experience is safe as well.

Sample Itinerary
Day 1.
Transfer from Playa del Carmen/Cancun to Xcalak. (around five hours by comfortable van)
We stay in small comfortable rooms in Xcalak
Dinner at the restaurant close to our rooms
Day 2.
Early morning we leave by boat from Xcalak to Banco Chinchorro
We will dive to see the amazing untouched reefs of Chinchorro and of course to hunt some lionfish for bait.
After the dive, we set up camp while the baiting already starts. Crocodile action for around three hours, conditions and crocodile mood permitting :)
After the crocodiles, we will head to the beach to explore the little huts of the fishermen and look for some other big reptiles: huge Iguanas. Reptile Insanity it is
Around 4 pm we return to our huts and enjoy being in one of the most remote places on our planet.
We will sleep in rustic cabins over the water. There are no permanent residents on Banco Chinchorro so that we will bring all the supplies, and all the facilities are very basic.
Day 3.
Very similar program with the difference that some days the crocodiles are ready quite early giving more chance for us to be with them in the water than the day before.
Day 4.
Diving or snorkel depending on the space available for tanks (amount of people)
From 11:00 more Crocodile action :) – if they are ready earlier, so be it J
Around 14:30 we leave Banco Chinchorro and head back to Xcalak by boat.
Sleep in simple but comfortable rooms in Xcalak.
Day 5.
Private boat to La Poza dive site to dive with the big schools of Tarpoons which are usually hanging around there. Chances of Manatee encounters.
After lunch, we leave to Playa del Carmen/Cancun by comfortable van (around five hours)
